The Rules:

Gather friends (if applicable) around the television. Place alcoholic drinks within easy reach. Watch "Star Trek DS9" drinking when instructed to by the following rules. In case of confusion over whether or not to drink, always err on the side of drinking. Enjoy!

Take a sip if:

• Dax mentions any of her former hosts.
• Dax gets hit on by someone.
• Garak uses clothing as a euphemism for something else.
• Julian suggests something patently unwise.
• Julian is in the holodeck.
• Kira has a case of divided loyalties.
• O'Brien has to fix something that isn't working properly on the station.
• O'Brien has marital problems.
• O'Brien and Julian play darts.
• Odo shapeshifts.
• Odo is puzzled by humanoid behavior.
• Odo warns Quark that he's got his eye on him
• Odo mentions his distaste for violence.
• Quark is seen behind the bar.
• Quark tries to sell some crap.
• Sisko threatens somebody.
• Sisko calls Dax Old Man.
• Sisko is playing with his baseball.
• Someone calls the space station DS9.
• Someone mentions Bajor.
• Someone mentions the Jem H'dar.
• Someone mentions the Obsidian Order.
• The Ferengi ear/genital equivalance is mentioned.
• Violence breaks out on the promenade ring.
• The wormhole is opened or closed.
• The Defiant cloaks or decloaks.
• The 'cog' airlocks are used/operated.

Take a gulp if:

• Garak acts like a spy.
• Jake Sisko gets in trouble.
• O'Brien complains about the Cardasian's engineering standards.
• Odo does something intentionally humorous.
• Odo is violent towards someone.
• Rom stands up to Quark.
• Rom says Moogie.
• Someone calls the space station Terok Nor.
• Someone says no shapeshifter/changeling has ever harmed another.
• Someone yells Dabo.
• Any door is seen opened manually (if it's a 'cog', take two).

Chug your entire drink if:

• Julian does something clever not related to medicine.
• O'Brien uses the transporters (and have a nostalgic sigh!)
• Odo is seen with his bucket.
• Odo demonstrates he has a crush on Kira.
• Quark does something selfless.
• Sisko cooks some food.
• An orb turns up on the station.
• The inside of the wormhole is shown.
• Any of Dax's former hosts turn up.

Drink everything in sight if:

• The federation loose control of the station.
• Any of the main characters dies.
