The Rules:

Gather friends (if applicable) around the television. Place alcoholic drinks within easy reach. Watch "X-Files" drinking when instructed to by the following rules. In case of confusion over whether or not to drink, always err on the side of drinking. Enjoy!

Take a sip if:

• Mulder mentions his sisters abduction.
• Mulder makes a reference to a case from years ago that is similar to the current case.
• Mulder goes into a dark place alone.
• Mulder makes a suggestive comment to Scully.
• Mulder recieves an anonymous newspaper article or E-Mail.
• Scully examines the internal organs of some corpse.
• Scully comes up with a rational explanation for something.
• Scully shows up at a hospital, and bosses everyone around.
• Mulder and Scully talk to each other on their mobile phones, and the first thing they say is where are you? or its me.
• Mulder or Scully leaves a message on the others answering machine.
• Mulder or Scully pull out their FBI identification or their gun.
• Skinner shouts at Mulder.
• Someone calls Mulder 'Fox'.
• Someone calls Scully 'Dana'.
• Cancer man lights a cigarette.

Take a gulp if:

• Mulder says something could be paranormal, and another character thinks he is joking.
• Mulder eats sunflower seeds.
• Mulder is seen with porn.
• Mulder enlarges a photo/video image to find evidence he needs.
• Mulder throws a fit over his current assignment.
• Scully says to Mulder 'Are you trying to tell me ...?' or 'Are you telling me ...?'.
• Scully goes into a dark place alone.
• Scully performs an autopsy on someone or something.
• Scully makes a crack about her or Mulder not having a life.
• Scully shouts/screams Mulder.
• Mulder and Scully argue about how likely it is that something might happen.
• Mulder or Scully do a long monologue at the start of the show.
• Mulder or Scully get in a fight with the local police.
• Mulder or Scully are attacked.
• Mulder or Scully fatally shoot someone.
• One of Mulder or Scully's relatives dies an unnatural death.
• Someone uses a torch that is so bright it must be using a car battery.
• Someone refers to Mulder as 'Spooky'.
• Someone knows something about Mulder's sister, but will not tell him.
• A microchip implant is found/shown.
• The lone gunmen appear.
• Skinner gets injured.
• X gets into a fight.
• Deep throat or X are called (or Mulder meets them on a dark cloudy night).
• Deep throat or X refer to Mulder as Mr Mulder.
• Someone dies in broad daylight.

Chug your entire drink if:

• Mulder shouts at Skinner.
• Mulder has a flashback involving his sister.
• Scully goes on a wild goose chase, and does not believe Mulder when he tells her about what he experienced.
• Scully witnesses a UFO.
• Mulder or Scully go on a date.
• Mulder or Scully are wounded.
• Mulder or Scully capture someone/something and it gets away from them.
• Cancer man is in a whole scene without a cigarette.
• Someone turns out to be a clone.
• Frohike leers or makes a pass at Scully.
• A mysterious person appears at the end of the show either preventing Mulder from finding the truth or saving Mulder's life.
• A human or alien appears with special powers.
• You see the numbers 11/21 somewhere in the show. (Chris Carter's Wife's birthday is the 21st of November)

Drink everything in sight if:

• Mulder and Scully get romantically involved with each other.
• Scully accepts the existance of aliens.
• Mulder or Scully permanently die.
• Cancer man quits smoking.
• The link between Cancer man and Mulders mother is ever revealed.
